License

I renewed my license today.. and I actually like my picture on it this time.. (if you've seen my old one.. you'll know what i'm talking about) and i went and applied for a passport today also.. kinda need that if we plan to travel after the wedding.. also I havent changed my last name yet so that was stopping me from getting it. But i found out that you have a year to change your passport at no charge! So after the wedding and after all the traveling thats what i will do :)

Save the dates are sent out via email. And let me tell ya, its working! People are RSVPing and replying with their mailing addresses so that I dont need to stalk them later.

Color Palette

I decided to put together a color palette of my wedding colors for my bridesmaids and for all those who want to match the wedding. Here it is!

Frames

I added a few more beautiful pieces to my frames collection. This front one is the latest and I like it alot! $2 at the thrift store and others are ranging from .25 to $5 a piece

Does anyone know where I can find similar love birds in a nest? I want this kind of cake topper...

Beach Cruiser

Valik surprised me with a beach cruiser for my birthday!!! (I was actually surprised!!) Although I've been wanting one for some time now and I guess I've mentioned it to him. I couldn't guess what surprise was waiting for me at home.

Now I just need to get a basket for it and I can hit the thrift stores by my house every week :) and go to the pool... and go riding at the beach with the girls... and and... go riding with Valik when he comes down. Oh I'm so excited!!

Birthday Weekend

I had one of the most amazing birthdays ever!! Lyuda, Vitalina, Sanka, Lena and I drove up to New York Wednesday to Thursday night. First stop was Binghamton. We stayed the night at Inna's place and next day for my birthday she put a candle on my omelett :)

 and we then we drove to syracuse to do a little shopping... and found this beauty in H&M and Lyuda got it for my birthday :)

and then we drove to Utica and stopped by a garage sale on the way and picked up this typewriter for free!!! It just needs a little cleaning..

 and then in Utica Lyuda tried setting up a surprise for me and lets just say... she failed ;) lol I caught on.. anyway the "surprise" was that Valik came that night to Utica. And it was nice.. but not a surprise :)

The next day everyone went to the wedding but me and Valik hung out in Utica and then Syracuse..

and Sunday we drove to New York City!! Went to Brooklyn Tabernacle Church, did more shopping in Brooklyn tried to go see the statue (but it was foggy) and then went to Manhattan and took a nap lol :) yep!!
But we did see this!!

Wine Glasses

I'm over 100 glasses!! Been buying un-matching ones at thrift stores, flea markets, garage sales... Its actually cheaper than renting them.. And a lot more fun!

Garage Sales

So I dont go to garage sales much here in Jacksonville. But when I was in South Carolina, I went with Irina on an early Saturday morning. We found some cool stuff!! Lets see.. we found more glasses for .25 a piece. Found some frames. Some cowgirl boots, a pair for me and a pair for Ella, for only .50!! Yeah!! And found a guy that has a whole collection of vintage camera's.. yeah i got his number ;)

White Pitcher

The day we went to garage sales with Irina. She found this white pitcher for .25. Only after we got home mom showed it to me and said Irina let her have it and she gave it to me :) Check out how many cool things you can do with white pitchers!! I think they're so pretty and such a great addition to a home.
